How It Started

OUT OF NOWHERE.

David was 17, fresh into his car journey, driving his 2013 Genesis Coupe — his first real car. Then a hydroplane out of nowhere changed everything. In a matter of seconds, months of work was gone.

Most people would've just moved on and waited. David called his best friend Malachi and said let's build something instead. No sob story — just a reason to go harder.

The Clean Dean's was born out of that moment. Two teenagers from Naperville deciding that if life was going to take something from them, they were going to build something bigger in return.

18 years old, Naperville born and raised. Works a day job at Sky Zone while building The Clean Dean's from the ground up. Friendly, hardworking, and the kind of guy who shows up early and stays until it's right. Started this business after losing his first car to a hydroplane accident — and decided the only way forward was to build something.

17, almost 18 — and already building a business. Worked at Burger King for years before being let go through a situation completely out of his control. Instead of sitting back, he linked up with David and went all in. His mom built her own thing in the business world, and Malachi is cut from the same cloth — entrepreneurship runs in the family. The Clean Dean's is his first step on that same path.
